The Jersey Cat Club held a very successful 17th Championship Show on April 25 at the Royal Jersey Showground. As well as the many cats entered into the show we were very fortunate to have three exceptional cats on exhibition. More Pictures (Download)
Exhibition Cats
Exhibition Cat No. 1 was the beautiful Persian Champion and Imperial Grand Premier Linnel Teezme Squeezme owned by Miss T. Hancox
Exhibition Cat No. 2 was an amazing Sphynx Cat called “Lucky I Left My Fur Behind” which is quite an apt name for a cat with no fur!!. Owned Mrs. M. MacDonnell
Exhibition Cat No. 3 was the stunning Supreme Champion winner of 2008. This maincoon owned by Miss Saffron Rabey now has the title of Supreme UK & Imperial Grand Premier Dairymaine Sarnia Cherie

The Overall Best in Show winner, which was chosen by mainland judge Mrs. S. Bullock, was awarded to Grand Champion Loriston Liberty Belle, owned by Mrs. M. Le Monnier and bred by S. Lorton-Hobbs. Miss Lorton-Hobbs was also a judge at the show who would have been delighted to see her Cat crowned the overall winner on the day.
After an extremely enjoyable (but tiring day!!), the committee, judges, exhibitors and helpers all had a relaxing meal at the Beachcombers Hotel in Grouville. Many thanks to James and his staff at the Hotel for looking after us and the judges over the long weekend.
A big thank you must also go to all those who helped on the day and also to the many people and local companies who donated gifts for the raffle.
Next years show will be held on Saturday 24th April 2010
